In my work, I adhere to and apply the Ethical Code of Psychologists of the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists and the Ethical Code of the Slovak Psychotherapeutic Society. I also comply with the Act on Psychological Practice and the Act on Personal Data Protection.


How to Prepare for Your First Session?

Before our first meeting, you can prepare for the session, or you can choose an exploratory approach to collaboration, which does not have a predefined structure or goals. If you prefer to prepare, here are some steps you can take:

  1. Reflect on Why You're Seeking Help from a Psychologist
    Consider what challenges you are facing and what goals you would like to achieve through collaboration with a psychologist.

  2. Prepare for the Meeting
    Make sure you have all the necessary information, such as the duration of therapy, fees, and payment options.

  3. Be Open and Ready to Talk About Your Feelings
    Sessions can be emotionally challenging, so it's important to be prepared to discuss your emotions and experiences.

  4. Manage Your Expectations
    Psychological counseling is often a process that takes more than one session. Be patient and give therapy the time it needs to help you.

  5. Be Open to New Ways of Thinking
    Psychological counseling may involve new approaches and perspectives that can help you better understand your issues and find solutions.

  6. Be Ready to Work on Yourself
    Therapy is effective only if you're willing to work on yourself and make changes in your life. Think of therapy as an investment in your mental health and an opportunity to improve your quality of life.


A Few Organizational Details

Counseling sessions are conducted either in person or via the ZOOM application. After booking a specific date and making the payment, you will automatically receive an invitation and payment confirmation via email.

Where Will We Meet in Person?
In-person sessions take place at Galvaniho 12, Bratislava - Ružinov. I recommend using the "pin" on Google Maps to easily find the location of our meeting.

The office is located on the 1st floor, at the end of the hallway on the left, with door number 109. Please note that the space is not wheelchair accessible.

Parking and Public Transportation
Free parking is available directly in front of the building. For public transportation, the nearest bus stop, "Na križovatkách", is within walking distance.

Important Information

Counseling is provided within the scope of activities of MMT Consulting, s.r.o., which is not a healthcare facility. This company is authorized to offer counseling related to business and personal development, education, as well as professional advisory services for job seekers and employment mediation for a fee. Counseling is confidential within the boundaries set by Slovak law. If you inform me that you have committed or plan to commit a criminal offense, I am obligated to report this to the relevant authorities.

Duration and Terms of Cooperation

The length of our cooperation is agreed upon verbally and is flexible depending on your needs or an assessment of whether the services I offer can be helpful to you. If you are dissatisfied with the process or results of our collaboration, it is important to inform me so we can find a suitable solution tailored to your needs. You can terminate counseling at any time; however, I prefer mutual agreement on ending the sessions.

Duration of a Session
Each standard counseling session lasts 50 minutes. Sessions start and end at the agreed time. If you anticipate being late, please inform me of the delay. In such cases, the full duration of the session cannot be guaranteed.

Payment for Counseling Services
Payments are made in advance via bank transfer or card payment. The fees are listed on the website www.ivanacergetova.sk or www.radipsychologicka.sk.

Rescheduling or Canceling a Session
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance (even during weekends) via the reservation form, SMS, phone call, or email. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the session (or fail to attend), you will be charged 100% of the session fee.

If I cancel a session less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, your next session will be free of charge. This deadline does not apply in cases of illness or injury on either side.

Confirmation of Terms
By paying for the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree with the terms mentioned above and the processing of your personal data (name, surname, phone number, and email) for the purpose of mutual communication.

If you book a session and make the payment but do not receive the session invitation immediately via email, please contact me to verify your reservation.
